The Ideas

Exploring my mind to come up with some potential ideas for this project, nothing defined nothing specific just idea off the top of my head based on what i think is both interesting and easy to explore.

Human potential- The media has for decades explored in sc-fi, the exaggerated effects of human potential. I find it particularly intriguing to wonder how the real world would be if we could unlock the use of the other 90% of our brain.

100% Organic Earth- Looking into what the world would look like if instead of the manipulation of metal to build our cities, we instead manipulated plants.

Cutlery Defence- Taking influence from home alone and other sources, thinking about the bast amounts of possibilities that exist when it come to making weapons or traps out of everyday house common objects.

Engine Art: On my recent trip to India i noticed a piece of technology that sits behind the scenes but doesn't cease to be technologically amazing and beautiful. I thought about making engines of various sizes, the centrepiece of art.

Renewable energy: Exploring the more bizarre, out there and comical idea of how to produce a renewable source of energy.

Future Media- Looking into how, in the future, we would view media, Holographics for example or re-imagining devices such as ipods and headphones for futuristic

Making the inanimate animate- Our day to day household appliances, however instead of metal and circuit boards they would be alive, made from organic materials intead. Flesh bone, plant matter etc.

Objects of today, tomorrow- I thought about the imagining of everyday objects or a place close to home how it would look in say 100 or 200 years times, see how a place evolves or how an object develops.

Polar Opposites- Choosing objects, scenarios or places that directly oppose each other to form some illustrative solutions
